Online Platform

The school has selected Seesaw (Foundation & Year 1) and Showbie (Years 2 - 6) as the online platform to support home learning.

Learning Timetable

The weekly learning timetable for Foundation and Year 1 will be emailed to parents. For Years 2 - 6 the weekly timetable will be shared on Showbie. See below for a sample of weekly timetables.

Mathematics

Each child in Years 1 - 6 has been provided with a White Rose Maths workbook. White Rose Maths is the Scheme of Learning used to teach mathematics in school, the workbooks have been provided to reduce disruption to learning. All children have a login for Numbots and/or Times Tables Rock Stars to support mental arithmetic practise.

Reading

The school has a subscription to the Oxford Owl eBook Library. This provides access to over 500 levelled eBooks, login details have been provided by email - please contact your child's class teacher if you require help or advice regarding the eBook Library or supporting your child's reading.

Exercise & Wellbeing

The school is offering a weekly dance session and a weekly yoga and mindfulness class via video conferencing, these sessions are for children attending school and those currently learning remotely. The dance and yoga teachers are employed directly by the school and sessions will be also be attended by a member of staff. We have also introduced Wellbeing Wednesdays to reduce screen time and give children alternative activities.

Class Catch Up

Children learning remotely will have the opportunity to attend sessions via video conferencing three times a week for a class catch up, providing an opportunity to see their classmates and school staff. Please click on the images below for our video conferencing guidelines.
