Orston's footballers came back with an excellent 4-3 away win at previously unbeaten Elston on Thursday night. After going a goal behind, Orston showed great character to go 2-1 up courtesy of Jacob and Jack. However, just before half time Elston levelled the scores with a header that just crept over the line. In the second half Orston started very strongly and put Elston on the back foot straight away. Wonder goals from Jack and Alexander put Orston back in control before Elston pulled one back to set up a very tense finish to the game. Orston's defence held firm and were marshalled well by captain Harry to ensure the points returned back to Church Street. Well done to all the Year 6's in what will be their last game for the school before they move to pastures new. They were fabulous ambassadors for the school and ended their season on a high!
