At our last pupil parliament meeting of the year, we were treated to an inspirational talk and demonstration from Nottingham-born Olympian gymnast Sam Oldham, who was able to speak about his journey from primary school to the top of his sport. We were able to see his bronze medal, the first medal that Britain had won in gymnastics for 100 years as well as the torch that he carried in the lead up to the 2012 London Olympics. It is safe to say we were all left hugely inspired by what a 'can-do' attitude and challenging your fears can achieve! A fitting end for Imogen and Ethan, our representatives who have been fabulous ambassadors for the school.
